If the 262 had heat distortion from the engine exhaust, that would look "pissa".:aok

The only people who would see that would be:

1. People in F3 mode while playing offline

or

2. Friendlys taxiing behind an Me-262 that's taking off.

4. the freakin pilot of the 262 as he looks to 1 and 3 o'clock.

Try it sometime, just move your HAT toggle to each of those positions and , what's this, is that the exit of the engine I see?

you should barely see distortion effects at the turbine intake, but certainly at a 4:30/7:30 direction.
