Just a reminder for folks not to eat too much turkey on this Thanksgiving Day. Leave room so that you'll have an appetite for tomorrow's lunch in the Main Arena. The menu looks good, and has a certain Italian flavour. Clue: comes with red and green peppers, cheese and pepperoni. Optional toppings include mushrooms, anchovies and Italian sausage. Mmmmm... I can't wait! :)

Not sure if the MA will be rotated tomorrow - who's going to do it, after all? Maybe we get to keep Trinity until Monday. :) Though, I do like Pizza anyway..... ;)

Maybe they'll change the CT too. Otherwise, the DA is looking good.

The automatic host script will see us through and as the disenchanted (and misinformed) exit to the DA where they will not be missed the rest of us will enjoy the game to the fullest measure.

CT is supposed to be changed to early france war (before BoB) with.. 109e, 110c vs p40b (french stand-in, reskinned i think) and hurri1's, with spit1's available from certain bases in england.
battle front is somewhere in france itself, which would limit the availibility of the spits unless the front got pushed back (hamstarded) far enough.

Looks like you were right, Skull.
But something is wrong. In a discussion thread on Friday Oct.31, I commented on the passing of the Pizza map that day, which means it was rotated in on Oct. 24. Today is the fifth Friday since Oct. 24 and if there are 5 maps (small maps count as one) then today should have been P-Day.
I've noticed some map rotation quirks which appear to have been implemented to placate the furball-BBS-map-whiners, for example a small map being introduced if a large map gets reset. Is this deferral of the pizza map another concession to the FBMW? Or has an extra map been added?

Yes I appreciate the sequence of rotation is as you have listed it. I do recall BI following pizza, and even posted about it. When I made my last post in this thread, I had only glanced at the map (but did not play). I saw it wasn't pizza and assumed that it was Children's week. But now I see that no map rotation took place at all. Looks like Flossy was right, and the rotation has not taken place because of HTC skiving off for the TG holiday. :p
As I said to you last night, Pizza was up Oct.24-31. So if we're still working on the basis of five maps (all Children's maps count as one) and the rotation mechanism has not been tinkered with any further, then it definitely should be P-week.
It gets confusing when the C-maps get rotated in when a big map gets reset. That happened recently when the Rooks got bored with QWW and decided to reset it. 3 days of Mindano was the result.

OK, NOW I have it figured out. I knew that the pizza map was a week late arriving last time, and this afternoon as I logged in and found a children's map up, I have realised what's happening.
Skull's list turned out to be correct, but I now reproduce Skulls's list with the change in red ink (which I borrowed from Mr. Toad). The list now looks like this. - children's maps 1st
- pizza map next
- big isle after pizza
- an extra week of children's maps [/color]
- QWW (fester)
- Trinity (AKA Infinity!)
- then repeat.

Trinity/NDisles
SFMA/Baltic/NDisles/Mindnao
AKDesert/Baltic
Bigisles/SFMA

Repeat
Now I will say this; It does not matter what the rotation is, someone will complain. I will not beat my head against that wall. The goal is to keep things varied or at least to give every player the chance to insure the game will vary.

Hehe, Skuzzy. ;) In that thread (hotlinked ^ above) I actually suggested that juxtaposition of pi... er, AKDesert and Big Isles might be bad for the furballers. As "spokesman" for the nonfurballers, I would have been happy to see a change there so that the furballers would not have their two most despised maps running consecutively. But guess what? The thread degenerated into a comparison of stats, mutual trashing of flying styles, and all the other baloney... I was sorry I even spoke. :( And to think - I was actually speaking up for the furballers.
But ROFL! It made a change to see all the maps given their proper names. :D I had to scratch my head for a second trying to recall each map by its proper name. :lol
