Who the hell decided that it would be a fine thing to let the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions play every single Thanksgiving?
Time to end this silly tradition and start a new one...
For Thanksgiving, I want to see a rematch of the previous AFC and NFC Championship games.
-
That would rock. Detroit and Dallas suck.
-
Auto racing would be much better.

Not like AFC champs Oakland! :aok

That's unfair. Al Davis should sue the league for being shut out of Thanksgiving day games.

True, this year is a bad example, but in general I would rather see the champs play than perennial chumps like DET or DAL.

Actually, I oughta send this suggestion to the NFL HQ...
Leave the Thanksgiving Day slot open until 2 weeks before the holiday. The 2 teams with the best record are then scheduled to play.
That'd be a win/win situation for everyone. :aok
