Title: So tell me what I've been missing.

Last I played AH was in the version before the computer controlled bombers (I think you got that now). What have I been missing?

I have enough money to buy me new free fly pants. Or half a computer upgrade. I'd need another half + throttle/rudders before I can play AH again.

OTOH, I'd look **** hot in the new fire flung FF pants. And I need a Bonehead Mindwarp helmet. Both things are about $200 a piece.

So, lemme hear on what goodness I've missed. When I stopped, the game felt a bit stale to me and I didn't feel it was worth the wait (ride to 14k).

Now I'm used to a ride to 14k taking 30 minutes. Am also used to not landing the plane, but rather landing under canopy.

If HT has freed pilots from the BoxMan and allow some freefly maneuvers when one bails, the choice is made. However, I doubt he has.

So, tellm me what I've missed, preferrably through stories, but a list of features would be nice. Entice me back to the game. It's rainy here and my rig is at its 1 year checkup. I might be lured back :D

Santa....ok   here's wassup....Beta Testing AH2.  Some new

maps....some good....some not so good.  I jumped outta the

A8 and into the P47D30.....being a LW leather panty wearing

card carrying member you'll know why.  :D

hey santa S!, i still remember a great knife fight i had with you, me in a 205 you in a A5, went from 20k to the deck. think about it, if ya come back, i can get my revenge :D

LOL chaps; thank you for your oh so hearty and friendly comments. Warms an old Luftwaffle's soul, this :D.

Dammit, now I really want to get back. I think my puter can run AH now that I have a new Geforce FX 5600 in it. Still only a 1ghz/384 mb ram machine, but should be doable.

With a bit of mixing up and two joysticks attached I can use my old non digital gameport throttle together with my USB fighterstick. Which means I just need some rudders - Pro Pedals sound good.

Hmmm; Attilla: looks like you might have a rematch soon :D.

My gravity inducing arse is going back to AH methinks! Skydive rig is to its annual control and weather sucks anyway, which means I'll have enough funds next month for a rudder purchase.

Yes saintaw, but I figure between the weight of my ego (top heavy) and my arse (obviously bottom heavy), it might not be too hard a task for our Über Programmer :D.
