Heya Rude
If furballing is the most important thing to you then perhaps consider swapping to another country that does have a fight on, or use the CT which nearly always have good 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2 etc.
I'm a strat guy but when I do play I never fail to find a fight, apart from on Pizza map that is. If a field is porked then we resup it, an entire squad resupping a field only takes about 10 minutes. A few weeks back Swoop and I and a non-squaddie kept taking C47s into a furball area to resup a field. We managed to get in and resup it a few times each although it was incredibly hairy! ;)

go in to the MA now, knights are down to less then 20fields.
point is, stop whining, its gettin really old

that is exactly the problem with infinity; you have to go somewhere else or skip a week due only to the map not having variety (as in festerama map). Not everyone enjoys ganging bases for captures sake, some enjoy the furball, some actual acm, some gv's etc. Infinity forces gang bang style flying due to the "natural" mountain barriers; it also forces long flights to get to any fight (save to a nearby cv) as well as time-wasting flights over huge mountains. The maps should allow for much more variety of conditions. If this map got tossed you'd never hear a pip of complaining from me.

Our squad has had the most fun just this last week. We didnt see much resistance from you knits. So this is how you motivate cooperation in knitland? You log? :rofl

replicant.... where did you get the avatar?
i was making a winamp skin and was going to use that for the EQ theme....
if there's a website with that image i would be greatly appreciative.

The might Voss ... err ... Metatron spews forth an abundance of knowledge ...
Nits slit their own throats when we sliced thru the middle of the map and cut off the bish from the rooks. This always results in a massive ganging of the country that created the divide.
I forget which night it was, but once we had created the split, the numbers for both the bish and rooks went thru the roof and the bish started rolling the north and the rooks got a sneak foothold in the west. At this point the knits we screwed and started running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Ergo, your "lack of resistance".
Cooperation in knitland is no different than in any other country when the numbers gang start rollin'. I have seen rooks log in massive numbers and roll over like a beached whale when under the same conditions ... more so than the bish ... at least the bish know how to fight. Rooks can't do sqaut unless they have numbers.

Invinity for some reason is the map of the hordes. Pizza rarely has the "hordes".
Some little quirk in the map, I don't know what it is that brings out the hordes. It's not the map size. If it was than big isles and pizza would be carbon copies.
More than not the South East corner becomes the horde center on that map everytime it's up.
I think it's the funnel feature, everything squeezed into channels.
Of course that's just my opinion, opinion may vary.
Beet1e agrees with me in this.
Don't ya beet ??

If you think about it, that pretty much sums up the score-potato, spawn camper, no-risk idea of AH fun.
And posted by one of the spokespersons of that ideology, as well.

I agree with MiniD when he said that mob mentality has been taken to the nth degree on this map - he was talking about the QWW map.
You don't see hordes so much on pizza - even when there are 400 people in the arena. That's the main reason I prefer it. I hate the horde/gangbang/suicide fuel pork tardz. Just last week, I was G-tenning... and the Bish tactics to capture our bases were to send in wave after wave after wave of buffs, plus jabo fighters to suicide dive bomb the fighter hangars. The conveyor belt was kept going because the guys just taking off from the Bish field were the ones who had just suicided moments earlier. In that scenario, I agree with Lazs - the capture comes down to numbers. But the reasons for this are that the fields were sufficiently close together for the dweebs to do it without getting bored, and because of all the siren/flashing map/base under attack warnings and the Missun Editor. The game as it stands does not make any provision for stealth attacks.
But on the pizza map with the fields further apart, A.D.D. cuts in, and the tardz need to get a sugar fix just to be able to stay focussed on the job in hand for 10 minutes. Some of them don't understand why their LA7s don't work so well above 12K, yet more find that their vertical pull-ups (HO attempts) will have them tumbling to earth. So they'll whine to HTC - "Waaaaah, altitude sucks"... :lol

I guess a little closer-in to the lemming base interdiction would be asking too much... 2-3 people doing this can have a pretty big impact on the lemming stream, buying time for the goobers close defending the base under attack to start pressing back.
for all of the "stratergery" i rarely see efficient "tactics" - and lemming stream hordes is neither efficient nor a tactic because 99.9% of the time none of those lemmings are bother to run their own interdiction beyond the base being hit, resulting in defenders at various alts being able to whack so many goons. (properly escorting goons is another issue :D , and done correctly involves the aforementioned offensive interdiction.)
so many tools, so few clues.
see, i pretty much put the stratergery part of the game aside, simply too many dweebs and seals who think the lemming horde is all that. too few so-called vets willing to teach various aspects (not just dogfighting) of the game to all these noobies and oldbies.
