Isn't embedded a synonymous of encapsulated ?

Similar but not necessarily the same. Encapsulated would mean completely surrounded while embedded means part of but not necessarily unexposed. But what does that have to do with the play?

Yea I saw this on the news today and the worst part about it is people are thinking this is based on "actual events/accounts"  The reporter and Marine that went to the play were THEIR and said that it was nothing even remotly close to the truth.  Than the Marine Major in dress blues was called a "nazi" by one of the audience members.  His reply was somthing like "I'm glad I have the oportunity to defend your right to say that to me"


I don't think I could sit through this play without walking out

Untill we can make a definite limit between this 2 words it can be interpreteted both way, isn't a film a form of interpretation ?

"Embedded" is the title of the play and named for the reporters that were embedded with our troops in Iraq. That means that the reporters accompanied the troops not as combatants but as observers.

Yes, Tim Robbins "interpreted" the events of the Iraq invasion to suit his anti-Republican agenda. However, as pointed out in the article, he was never a journalist or embedded with the troops and has fabricated a very anti-government, anti-troops, and anti-reporter play that slanders them all imo.

He will never get another dime of mine.
