because everyone likes screwing around with veiw keys just to see there instruments

actually that default accurate position of the instrument panel would be easily readable with ah gauges and no control yoke.

its the canopy bracing that needs the most attention in any 3d combat sim. that detail around the floorboards is great but not seen very much.

I wish the P-38's cockpit would get a makeover like that in AH2.  Just get rid of the yoke and the cockpit like that would work just fine for the P-38.

all that matters is whats visible in forward side and rear level views.

the view at a down angle is almost never used.
