Title: Good Thing Rip's on Vacation
Post by: AKWeav on December 01, 2003, 12:12:43 PM
Walked into work this morning to find that the President and CEO (Phil Condit)of our company (Boeing) has resigned, and Harry Stonecipher (formerly of McDonnell/Douglas) is the replacement.

Most folks around here are figuring it's the final straw for the Boeing Company. Harry did such a fine job at McDonnell that they went tits up.

Course, any outsider who can buy Boeing using Boeing's money can't be all that stupid.

Come on Boeing, you can make it five more years so I can retire.

It was shaping up to be the greatest day in Boeing history when Conduit quit, but it quickly turned into the worst day, Boeing very own Black Monday -when the word came down...Stonecipher is your new CEO.

Might just as well change the name now, McDonnel Douglas is back.

Conduit ruined the company
