LOL
Only Shatner could do that without laughing himself silly.

No wonder the guy's singing career didn't take off with a nickname like "the Shat." Sounds like something I do in the toilet.
-
Yeah, and so did his performance. :D
-
I couldn't watch it. Made it about 1/4 the way through. Too painful to continue.
I had to open goatse.cx to burn it from my memory.
now i just feel ill.

Bravo for the Shat... Brilliant acting!!! just like always!!
-
You can almost feel him feeling the words, some them you can feel all too well
a long,,,, long,,,,,, long time

LOL, so that is where that came from!
A few nights ago, I was watching the show "The Family Guy", a great cartoon showing in repeats on cable. The evil baby "Stewie" did that exact act, dressed in a tux, smoking a cigarette, the whole bit. Exactly like Shat. I didn't know where it came from until now, good Lord they were mocking Shatner in a cartoon. It was funny, funnier now that I know the source.
Someday Shatner should buy a clue, find out what a clown he is.
And maybe he could learn to act while he is at it.
dagooooooooooooooooooooo

Ahh, Family Guy.
CLICK, CLICK, BLOODY-CLICK PANCAKES!!!

Stewie and Brian are the best part of that cartoon.
Damn shame they cancelled it after that "Wish Upon a Weinstein" episode.

To continue the hijack:
I've heard rumors that they may start making new episodes since the DVD set sales have been through the roof.
Weinstein never got shown on tv, did it?

Cartoon Network aired it sometime during early November, I've still got it on Tivo.

It's the triumph of shame and disease

I'm pretty certain Weinstein was aired, because I'm pretty sure thats the last episode I saw on regular TV.
Thats the one where Stewie has to live in a home that has a variety of cultural kids, right?

-
Nah, it was a Christianity / Jew episode.
-
Yeah, its the one where Peter hires a Jew... but I thought Stewie had to go live with a multi-cultural family? Or is that the episode just before the weinstein episode?

No, that's the pancake episode where Meg gets a waitress job at the pancake house and tells everyone stewie is her crack-addicted child to get bigger tips. Stewie gets taken by Child Protective Services and sent to the multicultural house.
Weinstein was the episode in which Peter thought that if he raised Chris as a Jew, Chris wouldn't be so stupid.
-
Oh okay - man it sucks when you watch the entire DVD set when drinking... you don't remember which episode is which.

Agreed; somewhere between Stewie and Brian you've got the perfect role model.
Peter: 'Aw crap. When did they change the meaning of 'for' to 'from'?'
Brian (dryly): 'I think they had a meeting about it last night'
Peter: 'Why wasn't I told?'
Brian (dryly): 'They sent you a card, but it had 'For Peter' written on it so you must have thought it was from you, so you didn't... y'know, it's just easier to call you stupid.'
And I didn't get that reference before, either. Fantastic stuff.
