To get better use out of the plane set we currently have what about changing some of the options we currently have.
B-26 have attack option added
TBM have attack option added
Ju-88 have attack option added
Ki-61 have attack option added
Macchi 202 and 205 add under wing bombs with attack option.
Just a couple suggestions that I feel should be changed.

A8 with 6x20mm and 2x30mm should be add as well :D

I don't think that this would help, or amke sense. The B-26 is already the #2 bomber.

I agree because of the rockets.
Ju-88 have attack option added
I do not think that the Ju88A-4 should have an attack option. It really isn't setup for it.
Ki-61 have attack option added
This was already done in the last patch.

I agree. Droptanks as well.

I see the difference between Attack and Bomber in the ability to act as a fighter
B26 - No attack
You can't dogfight. It is slow and turns
like a truck. The six .50 in the nose
doesn't make the difference.
TBM absolutely yes

Without bombload I did several dogfights
and it performed very good.
The Ju 88 would be real threat to "normal"
fighters, if it had "real" guns.
We need the JU 88 - C6 !!!!!
KI-61 errrr?? Yes??
Macchis why not, but is it really necessary?
By the way, Panzerschreck 2 for the FW190's would be real cool :)

ju-88 is a dive bomber also karnak......
kill a gv in it you get no score for it.

only if the perk points gained in attack mode for the bombers still go into the bomber perk total and not the fighter total. I'd find it silly if a TBM flies a sortie in attack mode, sinks a ship and gets a free CHog out of it. :p

I must admit even after all this time I don't understand the point of Fighter/Attack. Why not just score points based on what you hit. Seems crazy to me that someone who selects to score a sortie as attack gets penalised if he has to dump ordinance before reaching his target and then shoots down several fighters. Why not just score everything based on the standard "ENY/OBJ" formulae. (Not a whine), Just my opinion.

Check out the Il-2 :) bomber and attack so it pretty much points all to this. Dogfight in a JU99? Why would you? Dogfight in a Il-2? Why would you? They are ground attack planes, they are not tiffies or P-47's they are twin engined bombers that also had the ability to do ground attack. JU-88 has dive flaps for what? Precision bombing? That is what the bomb site is for. I would love to take a 88 or TBM or 26 up to defend against GV's attacking a base. I don't think everyone here is getting the concept. get more use out of the planes we already have in here. What will it hurt?
