hey, minor announcement:
i have a new personal policy of squelching channel 1 first thing after log in and not using it at all. it has made the ah experience just that much better.
someone told me the other day that i might have offended someone by not throwing a salute back - arghh i wouldn't do that, even if i was cursing out loud on my end ;) - i just don't see ch 1 so i have no idea!
<big-S>!!! here's a preemptive one to cover all the great fights i will have with you guys - and also a response to any left hangin'.
i have a lot of friends and pilots i respect in the MA and CT i don't want to get the wrong idea, so don't be offended if you say something and i don't respond - i just can't hear ya!!!! - cya

No one has noticed your silence, except to enjoy it.

MrFish, Kurt Cobain stole that line from ME, and the original line goes like this:
"Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean I shouldn't be!"...I was using that line when Kurt was still spanking his monkey at a young age. :)
Big <S> to you!

:) I usually figure the guy I salute after being shot down by him is on RW, has chnl 1 squelched or the buffer is flying by too fast for him to have seen it. So I never take it personally if I do not get one back. The <S> is not like a handshake and it should never to be expected to be returned in a likewise manner. Otherwise the <S> is an empty jesture. imo.
Conversely if I get one I usually give one right back. If not, see the three reasons above :)

what mrfish said (always scares me when I agree with him :) )
I squelch ch1 in MA 90% of the time, though haven't found the need in CA ... yet :)
squelching ch6 at the same time really quiets down the ole text buffer too...
seems some don't know the difference btwn an AOL chatroom and AH
