What'd it do? Did something change, or did someone discover an easter egg?
-
eh?
-
Logged in tonight. MOTD was "Due to a bug in the flight model of the TBM, we have disabled it."
-
heard that at 30k it would go 600 mph:eek: no cheat FM bug
-
I often fly a TBM up to 30k to bomb a nme carrier!?
-
That's it? seems like it'd be a rare enough occurance that nobody would care.
-
hehe! I'm gonna try this out offline real quick.

Took 5 minutes with wind.
30k: turned wind off, let it settle. No real difference noticed.
40k: a little wonky. speeds around 250 indicated.
50k: Flew around like a zeke with 5-6g flat turns. Weird indeed =]
Put it in a nose dive and never really broke the 600 mph barrier. Wings ripped at 2k and death ensued.
2nd try I turned wind off at 35k, stalled and began to spin. I could NOT recover no matter what I did til about 4k. odd

You know - probably the planes that had been seen flying 450 knots (never heard about 600) was after dive? I dived with it from 20k and I was at speed of 400 even 500 but slowly I returned to my normal speed - this plane is good diver probably even better then 109g10 or P-38 that compressed at 400-450 knots. I do not know.
If it is bug - how can it be reproducted?
Anybody can ask the guyes who flew this TBMs at 600k. How did they do it?
-
Was filmed.....it's a BUG......at 27K the TBM outran an ME163.
-
Maybe it was a map setting but the day they had announced on the MOTD that the TBM was disabled, I along with a few others were able to spawn TBMs in the hanger and fly them. I never took the time to grab to 27k to see if I can out turn a Me163 so I don't know if they were put back in because they were fixed or if someone just forgot to change the arena settings after the reset.
ack-ack

Offline...no wind:
Took TBM to 27K and dove it straight to deck.....only thing that fell off when it pulled out was the rudder....wierd? i dunno :D

it has to be some fluke out of the ordinary conditions, otherwise simply firewalling the throttle in level flight would have been spotted by HTC when they modeled and tested the thing before release..
