From the helments appears to be our British Friends.

To them at least they there training unlike the rest of the ungrateful world. IMHO.

Much better to mess up in training than the real thing.

Actually was a drive-by shooting on the rest of the world for the lack of support I feel the US is getting in the Middle East.

Did we go about it the right way? probably not, intentions are good believe we deserve more support than we have gotten.  Realize most European countries are happy to sit back and let us absorb the cost in lives and dollars.

Is the world safer? I hope so.

In retrospect should we have done it alone?

yes, I don't think we would have the support we had when the world's oil fields during Gulf War 1 if we would have waited 20 yrs.
I personally believe that this war is the seeds of a war that will not end for many years.  It will take the unity of the civilized world to root this festering cancer out.  I would rather see this fight sooner than the bigger war later.

GScholz was just a passing Friday night shot on a board.

Gscholz,

So true, like i said a drive-by in which innocents are often hit in the cross fire.  Big to those that are there.

We still make up 85% of the troops.

We are so polarized by the middle-eastern populace that it is difficult to carry this task out alone.  Just an opinion that as long as it is just an American face on the anti-terrorist fight it will never succede.  If it is an united world face that carries the torch of civility I think it would carry a much greater impact.

Until the banking countries of the world are involved and prepared to take action will this ever be resolved.  With the financial ties cut the beast will only then die.
