Title: 1.995 Zoom Key, Z doen't work

When I click the zoom Z key and then the brackets keys, just some of the background textures white out along the edges of the screen. There is no gunsight zoom or any kind of scene zoom.

When I toggle the Z key again and hit the brackets keys, there is no background texture block whiteout effect on the scene edges, so some command is being issued with the Z key, but the zoom function doesn't seem to be called.

I noticed this as well in the "gun zoom" key map and stick map. It does however seem to cause a slight screen flash.
