Good for you MrBlack. That's one of the coolest bikes there is, I'm currently a "proud"  owner of a RC24.

Nope not the first one.  I started on a 600cc Yamaha.  This would be a bit to much bike for a nOOb rider IMO.

Yeah I am real happy with the Micron piece.  The canister coloring and the high mount really make the look for me.  As far as power gains..... the bike made 124 RWHP stock.  I did the pipe, jet kit and ign advance all at the same time which brought me to 136 RWHP.  A nice gain to say the least.  Then I did the BMC race filter and I did some more tweeking to the carbs  (The 136 RWHP dyno pull showed that I was lean)  Then POW 144 RWHP!  More than I could have hoped for.  Second gear 80mph power wheelies are no problem.

Nice pic of your ZX.  Bummer you sold it.

As far as a Ducati........ they are underpowered and overpriced IMO.  Not tryin to knock em, just callin it like I see it  ;)

Hey Nomak, thanks.

Had 2 plastic surgeries on my left hand last summer..reconstructive.  Burned my hand severely as a youth, never realized how limited i was with it until I broke my right wrist and had to rely on it..writing, opening cat food cans, etc...

Now its considerably better.  I have another surgery to go, probably in Feb.  Since I knew id be in and out of the hosptal, and the bike was in mint shape with great value, I opted to entertain an offer I had for it...made a great profit.  I wasnt attached to this bike...to me, its just a toy.  I can just get another one later.

As to the Ducati...yea, so ive heard.  They are awful sexy tho.

Who knows, I just might save the funds and go waste them flying fun stuff (http://www.jetwarbird.com/) .
