Post by: Gadfly on December 09, 2003, 06:05:28 PM: First let me apologize unconditionally to any individual was insulted by the MOAT; that was never my intent.

Second, let me apologize to HT for improper ulitization of a commercial BBS. The bottom line is, even though this is off-topic, we really should keep in mind that this is a business supported BBS, not a club where anything goes.

Last, let me say that my nickname here as Gadfly is in no way meant to hide my true online persona. I am Lizking, and have been for years in every other game and board I have ever used, and Gadlfy was meant here as a joke however many years ago.

Gadfly is no mas, I will re-register after I post this.

I don't know, but then again I couldn't understand all those who voted for my banishment either. Not only am I a heck of a guy but I thought claiming to be a 70 year old lonely old man, with nothing to live for but AGW, would have swayed more votes to my side. Maybe it did- wasn't the final vote like 36 to 34 that I could stay?

Nah man at the time I was busy and thought I'd be off line for a few months. I was after sympathy is all- I wanted to bow my head and shuffle off screen left while the studio audiance was going "awwwww...." and all of you were left wondering if you'd perhaps been too tough on poor ol' Airhead.

Luckily (thanks to a great attorney and the dismissal of key evidence) I was able to stay online, although in the next couple of months I may have to go through it all again, depending on what they decide- if so I'll make up some other BS story to cover my absence.
