As much as I hate to dis "Christmas Story", the best ever is "Family Vacation Christmas". And it's the best becuase those people, dressed up as my relatives, would come to my grandmother's house every year.

A Clockwork Orange
Just because it is the greatest movie...ever. You just can't pigon-hole it into any one genre. Christmas, New Years, Easter, Anniversaries (of first wife)...it is a year round kind of film.

Die Hard beats the crap out of everything mentioned in this post, followed by Lethal Weapon as a distant second.
BTW, did you guys know that Scottie Schwartz (the little idiot who froze his tongue to the pole in A Christmas Story) went into porn?

Count me in for this one, too. The 50's morality, the Technicolor vividness, the catchy showtunes, and the fact that it starts out in WW2 during a campaign, complete with air raid on American positions, makes it wonderful family entertainment.

Bad Santa looks promising, haven't seen it yet. My favorite has to be Scrooged. Carol Kane beats the snot out of Bill Murray. "It's a Toaster!":rofl
