It's more a subset of raï (a popular type of song in Magreb/north Africa like Algeria or Tunisia for example)

The original song is a mix of French and Arab song written by Jean-Jacques Goldman* and sing by Khaled

Btw in raï there is a lot of other valuable singer like Cheb Aissa ,Cheb Mami, Faudel etc...

*JJ goldman is the son of jew resistant (FTP-MOI) and one of the most famous singer and song writer in France.

I can't remember if the explaination was in Danish, but I'm pretty sure it is a Danish boy, and the song "Aicha" is also by the Group "Outlandish". This is three guys living in Denmark, but I think they original imigrated from Algier, Lebanon and Columbia or something like that.
