Post by: AKHog on December 16, 2003, 10:16:10 PM: humm... I dl http://downloads.hitechcreations.com/AH1997.EXE and install with no problems, then try to open and it gives me an error. This is my first dl of ah2, am I dling the right file or is something else wrong?

Almost no torque, compared to AH1 Spit14.

Rolls like a 190 now(well, more like a Corsair I think..) - I thought it was a clipped-wing Spit!

The Fw190D-9 seems a bit unfinished, though. Landing gear covers seem too big, and the texture resolution is very low.

We're lucky not to have the full real 190 cockpit, with the thick canopy sealing, then again the only game it's bothered me in is Il2FB, which wouldn't be the same here since we wouldn't have the porked below-gunsight clearance of view and the fixed pov position.

Now if only you could kill both dot and radar bar at same time.

That said, the spit14 doesn't have much torque? is this right? if it is then moving on.

I'm DYING to test the N1K2 out, REALLY want to see how it performs in AH2. Can't be disappointed even if it performs the same way during regular/hard maneuvers, it's the nose high under 100mph behaviour that I'm interested in :D

The Spitfire Mk XIV and Fw190D-9 appear to have the exact same geometry as in AH1. The textures are higher res, but the underlying model is the same.

I was hoping the Spitfire XIV would have had its cam covers added to the model.

I think so... AMD 1.4 gig and 256 ram. geforce 3 with the recent drivers and windows ME. I get 50+ fps in AH1 so I assume I have enough for AH2. I have tried 265 color, 16 and 32 bit in 1024x768 res, nothing works. Says

its not enough, need more memory
so far as i notice only 32 bit mode works
and as i suspect its not AH2 foult
