Title: Need help to find out my IP-Adress

Hiya all.

Anyone know of an site i can visit to find out my ip-adress, i know there are such out there somewhere but i cant recall one...

Im getting an NAT-ip adress while surfing thru the coporate firewall and its that IP-adress im interested in knowing... not my local adress...

never mind problem solved....

 http://www.edpsciences.com/htbin/ipaddress

No Gsholz, ipconfig only gives me the local IP-number, not the one i get thru the FW (NAT-adress)

Stop it now :), you dont seem to understand FW with NAT hehe...

do not assume.....

Question....

does your Network use a DNS server with a NAT.....if it doesn't then the IPconfig /all command WILL GIVE YOU ITS ADDRESS as the DNS.

Network Address Translation SERVER is mostly used in NON-routed private networks...small one's

NAT also works as a small router and DHCP server:aok

Perhaps your looking for your 'gateway' address??

2 different servers provide the DNS and NAT function...

We got one DNS server

and

One FW wich provides the NAT function....

:)
