Type VII C Uboat.

If it wasn't a submarine I would say HMS Flower

From what looks like a ladder and a boarding ramp (?) is she at dock or along side a resupply ship?
(Two spelling errors... it feels like monday)

I don't know if it's resuplying, Why would they aim their cannon?
-
I agree on the type VII, most likely a C since the majority of 7s were of this type.
However, look at the water or lack thereof. Looks like a training Op between a TypeVIIC and a 'Milch Cowe'. They normally manned the guns during this time for protection.

I don't know .. but that officers body language looks british to me.

If they are resuplying at the seas why wouldn't they be manning the cannon? I guess it would be part of standard procedure, or common sense at least.

It is, Type XB.
She is a Minelayer the tops of the mine shoots are visable along the sides of the boat flanking the preshure hull.
