As for the last three or four years, I still wish they'd put sky pointers on the artificial horizons so we could read our AOB during extreme pitch up or pitch down maneuvers.    :)

It does kinda make sense to have a HUD-like ladder, to compensate for the lack of peripheral vision and inner-ear directional sense.  Until we get binocular hemispherical high-res goggles. :)
