The Rook Air Force is a forum for squads and pilots to coordinate and work as a team. All ROOKS please visit http://www.rookairforce.net
this is the first phase website to get us started (so it's a little cheesy). There you will find a link to the RAF message board. All aplicants will be approved (once I have verified that they are a ROOK)
I hope to see all you rooks there!

Hey, what a great idea. I always thought it would be cool for HTC to have country forums. Good to see a player initiated one.
Funny how everyone is waiting to c which way this thread goes lol.
Go Rooks!
-
Coolryder: that's a good idea. A couple of suggestions for you. Not sure if you're are aware but the Rooks have had somewhat of a structure in place called Rook Joint Operations (RJO). You might try and chase down Ghstdncr of the Nightmares or GrimmCAF with the CAF to see if it's a good idea to try and merge your message board with RJO organization and planning.
One comment about the site- personally I found the transitions from page to page a little slow.
Glad to see your initiative in moving something like this along!

The point of the rook air force is to have an available place to coordinate all the time instead of the single events planned by the RJO. I in no way want to take away from the RJO. This is to just sopplement it. I was on the mail list for the RJO and had to take myself off it because some of the ranting on there was filling up my mailbox.

Actually, the RJO has a message board, but it really isn't the preferred medium, only 9 of the RJO Squads access it. Coolryder is right, we had an unfortunate rant incident recently with the RJO e-mail list, which turned a couple people off. Most though understood those type of things are rare but do crop up occasionally, and still prefer the e-mail notification in lieu of having to check another board.
I'm really glad Coolryder is giving us Rooks another vehicle to help keep us organized, it will do nothing but help the Rook cause :).
Cya Up!

ROOK AIR FORCE
---- TOP SECRET ----
Today's plans:-
Today we shall suprise the evil Bishop's and Knight's by only staying above 30k in our superior Luftwaffe aircraft. If anyone is seen below 30k in anything other than 190/109 (P-51 is acceptable if all you do is run away) you will be banished from Rooks forever.
You should NOT engage ANYTHING unless you outnumber the opposition by atleast 5:1 and have atleast 10k alt advantage.
Bombing will commence once our low group of jabo escorts (30k) and high group (50k) are in place. The bombing aircraft will come in at 40k, divebomb the target, and then run as fast as possible to the nearest Rook ack concentration (i.e. CV, Airfield, Factory etc.)
By NO circumstances should anyone be caught having fun. This is in violation of the Rook 5th commandment of "thou shalt not have fun"
And finally any Rook pilot found not wearing his Rook Air Force uniform of leather skirt, suspenders and latex top will be banished from the Rooks forever.

You have over exaggerated our flying practices and mixed it up with good common sense...sure I'll fly planes meant to fly high and fast at low alt so I can get myself killed more often than I already do. I'll attack a base at low alt so your defense fighters don't have to climb so high to try to intercept.Oh OH and when I have a few kills or my sortie's objective has been met please please forgive me for trying to high tail it out of the area to land my kills an maybe earn myself a few perks..God forbid anyone has a strategy. Lets just all fly for kills and rankings...that way all we have to do is sit over fields and vulch all day..GEE that would be FUN. At first "HAIRBALL" I thought that your post was funny. But your rudeness to one of my other ones just proves you are an prettythang.
-
LOL calm yourself. Funny how it took you 40 minutes between the original post; and now your edited one to figure all that out.
And, i only said what i did in the O'Club forum because you kept adding dumbarse: -
:D 's
at the bottom to punt your message to the top of a forum that is supposed to be for Off Topic Discussions.... heck, why not go punt it in the Screenshots/images and Bug reports forum too! it was not intended to be rude.
-
I'm just trying to get someting out to my countrymen..so what I put it in the wrong forums. And it took me 40 minutes because I do have other stuff going on in my household and I don't sit here all day.:D

Dawg pretty much took the words outa mouth. The RJO has been around along time, infact its roots pre-date Aces High. I welcome anything that brings us together as friends and can make a night flying an enjoyable experience.
Now then, Since Dawg has a Full cooler beer, Im Buying! ;) Who wants one!

:lol Funny post, Furball. But, come on...is it right to knock on a 109 or 190 driver in an arena with so many spits, Lgay-7's and Nikis out there?
I don't think of my 109G-2 or G-10 as Uber planes at all.

Furball, please report this to High Rook Commander. Somebody is trying to destroy our very nature!
Coordination, Team? To hell with that, bring in improvisation, we are Rooks!!
-
:D
-
HTC should do something like that... A country forum that is only accessable to the right people...Linking ingame names to the forum names. Then each side will be able to organise a Joint operations night, just like the great RJO's we've seen before.....
-
no need for HTC to do it..since we are now:D
-
Had to punt this one more time..sorry:D
