Find the level of brightness you want and drop it into your gunsight file and then select that sight for the particular plane in your clipboard setup.

Well, I did put Gunsight on Sight folder, but when i went to clipboard and click the gunsight that I want and it doesnt look right at all(complete black) and it supposed to be clear isnt it?, Could you help about this?

Yeah it a 24-Bit Bitmap Bmp file.

If its an illuminted sight, you must also have the alpha mask bmp is the folder.

If I remember right the only ones you can use are the sights that have an orange/red fill in them.  I'll see if you can't just do a hide file on the other unusable ones.  That should make it easier to find the correct sights.

Yeah, if you have an illumitated sight you hafta put the alpha in there.

For example, I name the sigh I use default, because im to lazy to go through and name all of them. So, you name the original one default, and then rename the alpha to default_alpha

Change the default to whatever you have it named. Hope that helps.

Ok. lets try this again.

I name the one I use default because im too lazy to go into the game and assign a different one to every plane. Naming it default assigns it to everything without doing it from in the game. But, let's say for instance you have one called "f4u1d".

If it's an illumitated sight, (it will tell you) you have to take the alpha sight, usually black or orange, and name it f4u1d_alpha and put it in the gunsight folder with your orginal f4u1d gunsight.

Then, you go into the game, and under sights, set the f4u1d gunsight to whatever plane you want to use with it.

If you want that sight on everything, do as I do and name it default, then name the alpha sight, default_alpha

Way I got it to work was this.  If you get the sight from Aero's Gun Collection, it easy.

First, download the sight you want.

Second, Extract the "sightname".bmp and the "sightname_alpha".bmp file into your C>Program Files>htc>Aces High>sights Folder.
