It just means that you've posted less then 30 posts... when you post more then 30, it changes to Member

(so start postin!) It has nothing to do with how long you've had AH

I still think HTC should change the BBS ranking system to something appropriate:

Newby Dweeb
Dweeblet
Dweeb
Veteran Dweeb
Uber-Dweeb
Dweeb God

Maybe something above all that like:  Chief Trainer Dweeb

Simply get rid of the designation ("member", etc.), the date registered, and the number of posts.

WTF are they there for anyway?  Does anyone seriously think that an individual who has posted several thousand times on this BBS is more intelligent, informed, or in ANY way superior to someone who is posting for the first time?

It's a form of elitism, and it sux.

I am sure that it's just the defaults that come with the UBB product.  Do we really want HTC programming UBB or AH?  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

IMEO, =) , it is just great that it can allow those who have posted more worthless drivel than the others to feel good about themselves!

Anxiously, awaiting crowning as drivel king!

That's fine Lep as long as it's done in reverse order of posts.   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

I suspect it makes some people post meaningless replies just to advance to member  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Although it doesn't really mean anything, I think it would be fun to use it to inject some humour into the BBS.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Plus, it's good for our Ego to be reminded that we really are all dweebs.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
