Why so you can ruin everyone elses fights by porking all the fields? Sheesh there are so many other planes that need to be included BEFORE we worry about some silly bomber... I swear ya damn fluffers aren't happy unless everyone else isn't aren't you?
:)
-
iv found that jabos have done better porking then bombers have
now if we had form's of b17s then a base would be leveled but no one likes flying bombers or no's how to fly them:rolleyes:
-
lol Soulyss
sim, the last time I looked, you can't blow anything up. I just want to fly some bombers and the B-17 is probably the first one they'll need to make. Of course a B-26 would be nice too.:aok
-
A B17 is what I'm waiting for too! :D
-
I was looking forward to see B-17E and B-17F for AH2 :D

Oh yes, We still need two more models of B-17(E & F) and two models of B-24(D & J). We need them for all special events like Combat Theater, Scenario, etc. :)

simshell,
Flossy nailed it, it didn't occure to me you might think I was talking about you, sorry.
No one can blow anything up yet as far as I know. Not that I won't still drop the bombs and test out everything.:aok

Huh? I am a Damn Good Bomber Pilot
-
we who would rather fly a bomber, and yes there are some of us who do,would like to see the 17or the 24,25 etc.
-
b24 b29 too... :D I was watching history channel they had the b26 or 25 i think ...and put 8 50's and a 75mm cannon in the nose of the bomber and watched it take out small ships in a single pass if you want different versions of the B17.. how about this Version of a bomber. this is a killing machine better than anothe 17. and i also seen that the ARMY had a YR4B helicopter used for fetching pilots that were down. would work great in scenerios that have rescue missions

Sikorsky R-4 (1942). The Sikorsky (model S-47) R-4 (British name Hoverfly MK I), was the first mass-produced military helicopter. The XR-4 (VS-316A), first flown in 14 January 1942, had a fabric covered tubular steel fuselage. Model numbers ranged from A through C. The YR-4B was a two-place side-by-side, observation, reconnaissance, and MedEvac helicopter, with one external litter. The R-4 was first used in combat in May 1944. The model R4-B entered service in 1945. Many were fitted with twin pontoons for use aboard ships or over water. A YR-4, equipped with pontoons, made the first helicopter deck landing on the S.S. Bunker Hill on May 6, 1943. An Army YR-4B performed the first military/MedEvac rescue behind enemy lines in Burma on April 25-26, 1944. Taxed-to-the-limit, powered by only a 185 hp Warner R550-1 engine, it required the YR-4B pilot four trips over a two day period to rescue the downed Stinson L-1 Vigilant pilot and three British casualties. R-4Bs were used by the U.S. Army Air Force, U.S. Navy (as the HNS-1), U.S. Coast Guard, as well as the British Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy (as the Hoverfly MK I). The R-4B was replaced by the versatile Sikorsky (model S-51) R-5D shortly after World War II.

Ahem! IMO we should start with the oldest buffs first - which means that the He111 gets created first, well before the B17...

Guys, and ladies, Hitech said they wouldn't bring out anything new until they had the existing plane set up and running.
The only way we'll get to play with a bomber is if it's one we already have and I figure the B-17 was the most likely choice if they're willing to move it up a bit.
-
(chuckle..) fine by me, Ju88 it is, then... ;-) Or Ju87, es schmeckt mir als gut, as they say...
Of course, it's a bit ueber for most of you, so they'll probbaly give you something easy like a B17 to play with first...
:-)

:rofl I expected as much Esme.
I was surprised to see the C47, another 2 engine job like the Ju88. I expected them to model one of the 4 engine job with the most gun positions first. I wouldn't want to be rewriting code because the tables were not built large enough.

Me too Flossy :)
Also........I Really Really would like to see a B24 Liberator :)
I suggested one a while Back for Aces High. I mentioned that a B24 with the range it had modeled in, would be Very nice for the 512x512 Mile Maps :)Cant wait till we get one in AH2 :D
Subtle....I think NOT..lol
I WANT IT!! Please hehehe

We need the Halifax!
Bomber, transport, glider-tug - heck of a plane! :-)
Btw, if the damage modelling in AHII is better than in current AH, you folks ARE aware that B24s tended to break up on crash-landing, whilst B17s tended to hold together better? Better chances for survival in a B17 ditch...
Wellingtons (another plane we ought to have), of course, could be nigh chewed in half and STILL get back home! :-)
Ah, they don't build 'em like that any more!

Saw show about an Israili F15 that collided with another plane in mid flight make a 15 mile flight home missing one wing COMPLETELY. Said the thing was so fast it just flew like a rocket. Pilot could not see the missing wing because of all the fuel and smoke pouring out of the side of the jet. Said if he did he would have bailed...im not pickin on you EsmeNhaMaire just thought you guys would think it was cool
