Sweet. I wish Brett the best, losing your father must be hard, even for someone so talented and fortunate.
-
Neat, thanks curly :)
I'd like to take this opportunity to point and laugh at any Tampa fans reading this. HAha! - superbowl "champs" didn't even make playoffs.
Sapp complaining of special teams, Gruden blaming crap blocking... yeeessss.... give in to your anger... join the dark side
Poor Gruden, I like the guy but hate the team :D
-
oct .. you worried about tomorrow night too?
i doubt brett is going to play well if he plays at all.
remember his dad was his coach in HS. they were really close.
-
Why wouldn't he? If I were in Brett's position, I'd say it would have the opposite effect on me.
I'm sure his father would like to see him play the greatest game of his life. I suppose it could go either way, but he's a veteran in this game. Trip, stumble and fall... stay down? or get back up and use this situation as emotional fuel?
Maybe Brett is thinking "This one's for you dad."
We'll see.
-
yeah possibly... im just concerned how the emotions will effect him.
you know he's not the best when he gets "upset" and gets wild or high with his throws.
like you said i guess... could go either way.
ps. dont get me wrong. i feel true empathy for him and have prayed for him and his father. God-speed to him. the game is not the first concern for me personally. just a thought.
