I been reading some post on game specs as well as on graphics, performance issues etc....
the one thing i dont see are the post they talk about OVERALL cost...
constant puter upgrades, service provider, phonebill, ah itself and etc
when you think about we play a hell of a lot to play this game.
I'm glad that htc is there for support and stuff, but when we start discussin performance graphics time cost etc look at whole picture..

When you factor in how much it takes to run the servers at the speeds they are at and accomidate everyone, plus to pay for not only the software upgrades but hardware upgrades used to make this game possible, aswell as how little the down time actually is and the Paychecks of the developers, we pay a very very reasonable price for this game.
They could charge 30 bucks a month, instead its only 15 and thats a price I am more than willing to play for the greatest WW2 Online Combat Sim Ever created.

I'm not complaining about the cost. but in response to your post, that said company is in buisness to do just what they are doing, and are reaping a pretty hefty profit.
what my post was directed to was us commoners:)

You're right. There are some additional out of pocket expenses that we pay so we can play. I wonder how many players are buying new computers or doing major upgrades to their systems so they can play AH2. I know that I just plopped down $100 to get a ATI 9600 Pro and another $75 to get 1.24gigs of RAM.
I guess this is one of the downsides we have to endure to feed our addiction.
ack-ack

When you look at it, any hobby you play costs you more than the game itself. For example, I'm using paintball, my other hobby I play when it's not freezing cold.
When I go to the field, it cost on average 25 dollars to play. 8 dollars for field fee and air, and paint. But, I have spent nearly 750 dollars on my paintball gun and stuff with it, electronic hopper etc.,
That is not required, but it is a nice perk. Just like this game, you don't need a supercomputer to play, but it is really nice to have.

its been over 1 1/2 yrs since i upgraded my gaming pc ...its is due for a video card soon.. thats not too much to ask for .
if I were to avg it out its a 100-120 dollar per mo investment .
without selling a few extra pc's every year ... this is figuring for upgrades ,dsl, sub's,ect
As long as HTC keeps there pricing reasonable and maintain good equipment ect ...I dont care how much money they make ...

This "Commoner" paid cash for a kick bellybutton P-II in 1998. My next step was an account for $2.00 per hour to fly WB's online. (PS… It took months to save for it too.)
Whether it’s cars, airplanes, women or computers… If you want to run with the big dogs, cash goes much farther than whine.
BTW: After 18 months of saving, I now own the best gaming laptop computer made!

Hell man.The upgrades fit any game you want to play with hard core graphics. Not something to sweat.Any upgrade to the computer should be a joyous thing to be cherished and gloated about.:)
