HTC,
Please tell me that, in AH2, we'll be able to change our handles/CPID's without losing our perkies. :)

Actually, I think that'd be a perfect time to reset all perks to zero.

Yea...so? :p
If anyone decides to change their CPID's 1-year after the release of AH2, it'd still be nice to do so without losing 12 month's worth of perkies.

You want mine? :D
Oh wait I only have 50 :P

perks are over rated

I'll agree with not losing perks on a name change, BUT...
All perks should be lost if you change countries and your squad affiliation should also be lost.
-
I think perks should be able to be shared with squadmates :aok

I agree. That would be cool.

Maybe losing perks is what is keeping some people from changing their name every month or so? I like the perk system as is.

I am thinking that when AH2 goes live it will be a nice time to retire "Reschke" and come up with a new name. Oh well loosing those 50 or so perks I keep isn't that bad.

i'll sell mine to the highest bidder, i know i dont have many compared to a lot of people (4000+ Fighter 4000 or so bomber 1500 GV) any takers? :D ;)
Of course you would have to endure the humiliation of using the name 'Furball'

I don't see why changing your CPID, is such a big deal... Just think of it as your handle, hell in other games I use several names, but the account is the same. It really sometimes is fun to fly under a different name, just because its different.
With an old ID, people expect or don't expect from you, with a new one they really don't know what to expect, and for the most part they'll think you suck, and you can Annihilate them!
But... a nice idea would be using your perks as a commander in a mission, and purchasing the Perked planes, used for a mission... thus those who have the perks spend them, (commander doesn't lose any) but since the commander has some squadies that don't, they can fly them with his permission using the commanders perks.
Or on another twisted note... the "Commander" idea can be used for instance he wanted to purchase drone bombers to compliment his already planned mission. The commander of a mission would lay in a course, and target for the bombers. Then depending on type, number, and experience level of his bombers, which means experience of crew as well i.e. gunners/bombadier, he can spend his perkies for a succesfull mission (of course he'll get a perkie bonus calculated on mission objectives etc..)
