I'm guessing maybe Philippines? but not until this fall. We've had two ETO's so its natural to have either a PTO -or- Eastern front scenario.
I hear that the Snap shots may be getting historical terrain....
Oops, spelled Philippines wrong...doh! Corrected.

Rip, you shoulda brought the 323 to the chk 6 on Sunday! I noticed a lot of you were on when I got in the MA after the event. Woulda been nice to have some more pilots in there!
And it was the historical Med terrain. I got to swim in the Med a couple of times! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Rgr, Nifty, I had to log at high noon my time (the start of the Check Six)...I only had brief moments online Sunday at random times, unfortunatly Sundays are a tough time to get online for more than 30 min at a whack with Spring here, and Summer OTW.
Incidently, I was promoting the heck out of it online Sunday AM. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Plane set is totally wrong for Stalingrad; we don't have late 1942 planesets at all; most of the Russian fighter force at the time of Stalingrad was comprised of I-16s, Yak-1s, LAAG-3s, P-39s, Yak-7bs, even some P-40s. There were a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny number of LA-5s (no LA-5FNs).
Also, the vast majority of the Axis fighters were 109Fs, not 109Gs, at the time of Stalingrad.
And we don't have any of the (surprisingly large) number of Italian aircraft present on the Stalingrad front..Mc200s, etc.
None of the current Russian fighters we have were in service at the time of Stalingrad.
Russian Front scenarios need to be Kursk at the earliest, or possibly a 1944 scenario. And even then, there are planes we HAVE to have (The PE-2) that there is no current indication that we are getting anytime soon.

Krusher, we're looking at Sept for the next large multi-frame scenario. We are currently looking at either an ETO "Big Week" type of scenario, or a Russian Front scenario. A lot depends on if what Pyro told me is coming down the pipeline actually happens by then.
On a side note, our CM terrain team has been augmented by the additions of Sundog and NUTTZ, and we are close to releasing two new historical terrains for use in the weekly events. We are working through some last minute problems with these terrains that HTC is helping us through, and although I can't promise "when" they'll be out, it will be "soon". We also have another four terrains that we've been working on, too.
The CM Corps is working very feverishly behind the scenes for the AH community, so if you will all bear with us for a little while longer, we have some very good things coming.
