I have not been able to log on since the last auto-update.

Are the servers down??

Yes sir.

DL`ed it as soon as I found out about it. Haven`t been able to get in since. I can go offline , but it just wont find the connection.Keeps trying the alternate route and can`t get in.

I just went in everything seems to be OK

Do you subscribe to AH ? if not you will not be able to play AH2 online.

Oh heck yes.

I just got in.  I went and disabled my firewall. Sheese. Why did that matter all of a sudden? Been able to get in before with it.

Because it's a new version your firewall is not familiar with and it was waiting for some input from you in the background?  :)
