Guys, although for the most part I have very acceptable frame rates, I have trouble with low frames in clouds and smoke when playing AH. Currently I have a GeForce2 MX200 32MB AGP card. I have downloaded the most current drivers to no avail, so I'd like some advice on a new video card. My system is as follows:
Gigabyte GA-7VTXE1-f MB w/KT266 chipset DDR ATX
AMD Athlon XP 1600+ Processor
256 MB 266 MHz Non-ECC DDR Memory
60 GB 540 rpm ATA100 Hard drive
Windows XP OS
Thanks for the help!

Oh yeah,,,I should have mentioned...since my system is on the verge of needing an upgrade (replacement), I don't wan't to spend a lot of money. So, I guess I want one of the cards that is not so "new"; maybe one that was out a year or so ago.
Thanks,

Just a suggestion. Before you swap cards prior to the upgrade try using an older driver. Assuming you are using DX8.1a use the nvidia 30.82 driver for the vid card. The later drivers are set for the later cards, not the older ones like yours and my old MX2 400. I used the 30.82 driver on mine and had decent performance given the age of the card tech in my machine.

A radeon 8500LE/Radeon9200 should be a nice upgrade, but is still well under 100.00, making it palateable for that system.
