you have to ban the rotors into three sections in order to get them to work as trim with a dead zone (small) in the middle which is were you bring it back to after adjusting one way or the other

here is a copy of mine to see how it is done:
AH X45 Profile (http://www.pogbird.com/X45/ACESHIGH_X45.zip)

Thanx very much for the reply Eagler, some really inpressive script but bieng a complete idiot i could'nt understand it.My rudder does actully work now though, i reset it in windows and it worked [should have checked that first]. So thats all working now but i cant seem to be able to programm the buttons on the controller so i'm still having to use the blasted keyboard.I downloaded the sst manual and did everything it said on there but when i go back to AH nothing works. Its probably because i've only had the controlletr a couple of days and i'm missing something but any advice would be great..Thanks FireItUp.. :aok

O yeah just one other thing, when i try to download the keyboard software from the STDisc it says i need to search windows for a certain file,or put my xp disc in and download it. I also get a pop up in my taskbar saying that this new hardware might not work properly because of the lack of the certain file.Whats this all about, any ideas??...:aok

I'd start from scratch

Turn off your computer & unplug the X45

boot up and uninstall all the saitek software then reboot

install the software again - then when prompted hook up the X45

when installing the software, just click next - be sure to install the advance option as that is the profile editor
----------
I just followed the saitek instructions and didn't have a problem.
If you use my profile, you need to reset the rocker in the throttle back to rudder axis as I have it set for aileron trim as I use the CH PRO Peds for rudder
