I just completed my second amd 2500+ with the giga Nforce chipset. I have 2 X 120mm fans and the Jet 7 cpu cooler my temps at stock where 32idle too 36 in heavy condtions (aH,etc)
i slowly moved toward 200mhz which im now at with only a 2 deg rise in temp in both conditions. I haven't changed the multi's i have mostly used easytune4 too monitor temps could they be off? after ordering the thing i heard nothing but bad comments on various forums? or am i just lucky?

Lj dont over clock that thing right now .. run it at stock clock settings for the 2500+ . if its as hot at your house down there as it is at my buddy's it may get to hot (he said it was 44 dec C today) 110f
if it is running 36 deg C then i would double check it in the bios screen ., then run a game for about an hour and check it again in bolth programs .
just a suggestion set the shut down temp at 60 deg C that way it wont hurt the cpu. if it does heat up

The temps are the same as the bios ones. and i have had 2 hours ah without a diff. i been running prime 95 for 3 hours now with no glitches. the set off is set at 56 and i have a warning at 50 i havent hit yet my max is 44deg

bring it up then and let it run ... i wouldnt go all the way to the max yet but somewere stable in the 2.0+ ghz area . go ahead and test all you fav games programs ect . beshure its stable and doesnt over temp . you should be just fine. :D
just remember the AMD cpu doesnt throttle back the way the pent 4 does ... thats why temp monitoring is so important w the AMD

after many hours of testing and prime 95 im idling at 32 deg. im at 2.19 and its seems to be just fine 0 errors found. the cooling in this system is surly keeping down the temp the 2500 in my 400mf giga's was 50 52 idle at standard. And i didnt go past 2ghz

Prime 95 has been running the tourture tests all night, 20 hours so far without any errors or crashing. So far stablility is great
