I am stuck on the Dam mission. Where the hell are the damn generators I am supposed to blow.
Great game though lots of fun, and some mission right out of band of brothers.
-
I belive you spell damn generators Dam Generators, thank you.
-
I meant damn.
Like that damn Hawklore is a little spelling nazi *****.
Jeez your like 10 right?
-
15.
And personal attacks are not allowed on this board.
-
Whatever....
Besides that was an example. If you took it personaly that's your problem child.
-
I didn't take it personaly, I'm just turning into a miniskuzzy.
They shall call me, TeenSkuzzy.
Also GtoRa2,
I respect you cause you have a computer that can run new games, mine is stuck back when Il2:FB came out.
-
Careful now
Hawklore will remind you that he's *much more mature* than 15...and throw a tantrum that'll make the most savvy 10 year old jealous.

Cute kid Hawklore, you or a relative?
-
Found it on Google..
-
The generators are at the base of the damn, in the main building at ground level.
-
LOL - did Hawklore just own someone? :D
The generators - if I remember correctly - nevermind, i dont.
All I remember is that I spent entirely too much time looking in every little room instead of following the 'flow' of the building.
Its an EA shoot em up game - just keep walking and blowing up bad guys - youll find the generators.
-
Is the game worth getting?

Call of Duty is done by Medal of Honor washouts basicly, I think they did more research...
-
The russki missions are straight outa Enemy at the Gates, they're the best I reckon
Tronsky
-
Aye - the Soviet missions were the best - a hell of alot of fun.
Martlet - the game is very scripted but does a good job of creating atmosphere. As far as single player FPS's go, Id say its probably the best - far better than MOH, IMO.
-
Great game! You're in for a lot of fun... just you wait for that Russian mission where you have to defend a building .... from storm of Panzergrenadiers...and tanks. Took me a few tries...
-
It got kind of samey though, with a few nice touches. I tend to suffer from a kind of 'machinegun fatigue' after a while, where I you no longer appreciate what you're doing and just shoot anything that moves.

Definitively. The best ww2 ambient I've ever seen in a game (BTW also the best 3D effects). Putting these effects and inmersion into Flash Point would result in the best WW2 game ever done.
Get it and try to complete the first 3 missions in the hardest level ...
The box indicates it requires DX9 but works fine with DX8.

I was a bit shocked at the frame rate hit on the Stalingrad start! Been running along nicely till then.
What settings do people use.
xp2000
1024 DDR 2100
Audigy Player
Geforce 5700 Ultra 128mb
I guess it's a very busy scene right enough. I'll try turning settings down a bit.
-
Yes it is worth getting. Contrary to opinion, I don't think it's good as MOH although the sqaudmates are better. Nothing harder than the Command Post in MOH!
