Title: Worth the Price of Admission
Post by: midnight Target on January 03, 2004, 10:04:03 PM
The wife and I went to Pasadena today to see the Rose Parade Floats. I am a native Southern Californian (not as common as you might think) and had never done this. I was pleasantly surprised however by one particular item....

dangit, SAW's pic hosting site is down.

Anyway there was a flatbed trailer with 16 tons of the WTC steel and a firetruck from ground Zero. The mood around these items was extremely reverential and there were tens of thousands of people there.

I will post pics if someone has a hosting site to suggest.

Thanks SOB, I guess it was just down temporarily...

People were placing flowers on the girders.
