I am going to upgrade my m/b and cpu so I can use a Ati 9700 pro that I have got, my present m/b (Asus P4G8X Deluxe) does not work with it, so have been using a Geforce 4 card.
Was thinking along the lines of a P4 3.0ghz(800fsb) with a Asus P4C800 Deluxe i875P m/b or Asus P4S800-D SIS 655FX m/b and hoping that either m/b will work with the 9700pro card?
Or is it better to go the AMD route, as I believe they have had no problems with the 9700pro, if so does anyone now what the equivalent price/power setup would be?
