Mr Hasselbeck, you were incorrect :D
What a game! The blowout didn't happen, but that was a very nice finish.
Next! Packers advance to the next round!
-
at least he was having a good time :)
crappy way to end it but Hasselbeck reminded me of tom brady
-
Packers are toast next weekend. Bank on it.

mikey will fine him for that!! LOLOLLOOOLL
good ol al harris... the whippin boy of the packers defence finally earned his paycheck,.
my only hope is sherman doesnt give him some huge "Tyrone Williams" type contract
he needs more than 1 int return to show his worth IMHO.
-
:rofl , I was laughing at that, did you see his smile?! :lol
You guys are incorrect though he did score.. but for the other team..

Um, no, you're wrong. Seahawks never scored in OT.

Great game.
Is Holmgren going to fine him for that? I hope not... I thought Hasselbeck performed quite well. A decade from now, I wouldn't be at all suprised to see him mentioned right up there with guys like Favre.

For you Oct, and your Packers.
A big :aok

Yes.
He was awesome, and that aint from an elated Packer fan. The guy didn't shuck and jive holding the ball out in front of him scoring the winning TD, he just was great all game and told it like he felt, as did my whole house watching the game. If any Packer fan didn’t think the game was over at the coin toss, they are lying, or didn’t watch the first 4 quarters.
It was one of the true displays of decent competitive fire I have seen in the league this year, and he did it with a laugh. I now really dig that guy. I of course loved the outcome, but man that was as classy as you can be, while interjecting some fun in the game.

Go Packers!
-
Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda...though I predicted a Pack win, I would have been wrong had the Seahawk receivers held onto 5 DROPPED PASSES. Had they held on..the game would have been over long before overtime. The only good thing is, the Hawks are a young team. They'll be back to the playoffs.
Newguy is right though, neither one of these teams would have/will survive in Philly.
-
5 is the official number but it is being generous. It was the worst work by wide outs I have ever seen. They missed many that they never laid a hand on.
Certainly would have been an entirely differnet game, not to say that the pack would not have picked it up as well.
-
Can't blame the INT on Hasselbeck. He did the quick read throw on a blitz but the WR didn't pull up for the quick out and kept going down the field, allowing the DB to jump the pass and take it in for the score. Everyone knows that on a quick pass outside one on one its the WR's job to shield the ball from the defender.
But I like Hasselbeck's showmanship. :)

Spot on! The whole game was like that from both sides. It was one of the best games I've seen all year. The only hard part was rooting for one of them.

Matt Hasselback threw an inerception, in essence scoring for GreenBay..
-
I just can't wait to see the Colts spank the Chiefs. :p
-
Lessee, Colts and Chiefs, two teams without a real defense, but with good offensive weapons... Gonna be a shootout. Of course the deciding factor might very well be special teams, and the Chiefs have it all over the Colts there...
-
You're speaking of Donte Hall? He hasn't returned a TD in the last 50 or 60 attempts...

no packer fan thought that game was over in favour of Seatle at that coin toss.. You must have been watching a different game.
Hassleback did excellent. Very promising end to a very promising season. But that game was very much up for grabs. If GB had slowed down a bit when they had a 1st and goal at the 6 yard line the game would never have been back to a tie at all.
Poor clock managment on shermans part. The GB go ahead drive was just too fast.
-
Well Pongo, the way OT typically goes in the league, the team that wins the toss usually drives immediately to field goal range. I'm with Creamo on that one, I thought they would score. They'd had no real trouble in the second half driving up the field at will.
-
Colts lack good defense?? Compare colts/chiefs defense and you'll be suprised. And add to that, the Colts have many more offensive weapons, James, Harrison, Wayne, Manning, and im only naming a few. I bet they go allllll the way. :D
-
Their run defense is pitiful. A good back can tear them up if they have a decent enough line. Chiefs will give them a good game, even if they are one-dimensional on offense.
-
If only we could put a little bet on this... :D
-
Hey, I'd be happy to be wrong, I'm from Indiana. The Colts have a nasty way of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
