I think this may be a problem with my set-up.
INFO:
In Aces High, I have calibrated my stick in both Win98 & the calibration method provided in AH itself. I have placed my stick settings for Roll at 100% across the board with minimum Deadband. I use a full CH set-up with the F-16 Combat Stick. All check out (capable of full deflection) in the small stick/throttle/rudder test window in AH.
After getting airborne and trimmed, my AC handles as expected (from my experience with Sims not RL), except for rolling to the right. Practically nothing happens. Maybe there are stronger torque effects modeled here, but I'm saying that I can take my stick to the right fully, and still it is VERY slow to respond. Hell, maybe a few degrees to the right after 10 seconds if I'm lucky. A faster response can be achieved by trimming to the right (extremely), and then I still have to use full right rudder to get a decent response. Now, I lower throttle (even down to min) and still about the same response. Only when I cut-off engine and glide, do I start seeing the same response roll right as in roll left.
Does this sound like all is operating normal, or is it a possible equipment set-up issue?
If it is normal, is this more realistic than WB's modeling (any RL pilots wanna comment on this...I'm no pilot)? I mean shiesh, I expected some effects from the torque, but damn I didn't realize it would make SO MUCH difference in a simple 90 degree roll right...I am talking about the slowest response to a roll right I could ever imagine in all the AC's modeled in AH. Any of you guys fly DOA?...well it's worse of a roll response than those WWI AC's modeled. Any info appreciated....
Thanks

Pooh, Ill try to answer your letter better in the 214th mail but basically Nope.
You should have full throw to the right. It works fine for most that I have seen. Im perplexed about why it would do that. But, DO this as a start.
Go into the settings directory and delete the Joystick file (it will be obvious). Then go calibrate in Win and then enter the game and calibrate it again. Also make sure after you say ok in the calbrate box to click accept (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif). Simple i know but a LOT have left that last step out (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif).
