I know both the Germans and Ruskies had anti-tank rifles.  That looks like the Russian version to me due to the magazine and shoulder pad.

The pic doesn't show.:(

The Boys had a top position mag while the Soviet 14.5mm PTRS-41 had a under position for the 5 shot mag. The PTRD-41 was a single shot with a semi-auto breech. Niether had the extra hand grip by the butt. The PTRD was 2.02m long and the PTRS was 2.108m long. Both had armour penetration of 25mm at 500m. The Boys was 21mm at 302m.

The German PzB38 and PzB39 were of 7.92mm and had penetration of 25mm at 300m.

I have had a chance to handle (not shoot) one in .50 Browning (re-barreled). Long, heavy, and would be fun, IF there was no tank involved :-)
Also known as the Stanchion gun.
