After years of flying, the forest captured one of their own today! Famous "Canadian" pilot Hilda "Broom Hilda" Spellbinder failed to pull up after doing a high speed pass in wooded terrain in Quebec. The accident occured about 76 km northwest of Baie-Comeau on the north side of the Riviere aux Outardes. Witnesses reported that it seemed like the pilot was distracted when her cat fell from the back of her broom. "Broom Hilda" was well known in these parts and was concidered by some to be the "bush pilots", bush pilot! Canadian's have always felt their flying abilities surpassed those of other countries because of the rugged conditions they fly in. Aviation will sorely miss this veteran of the skies! <Salute>

That's all the Canadian Military could afford.. We currently have 3 wings of "broomstick" flights stationed in Cold Lake, Alberta.
