Title: Swapping settings from AH1 to AH2

whats the safest way to swap settings over to AH2?..last tiem i tried it i opened it w/ wrong program in AH1..it screwed everything up...


open and copy and paste from notepad?

You can go 1 of 2 ways on transferring settings

at first all I switched was in the settings folder ctrl.cfg and stick.cfg files were the only ones I copy and pasted over.

since beta 6 I renamed the settings folder in AH2 and just copied and pasted the whole settings folder from AH1 to AH2 in windows explorer.  

although all the planes are not as of yet in AH2  what is there so far has carried my views convergences ect from AH1 to AH2 no problem.

and if things seem weird with the stick a quick calibration seemed to work out fine.

setting folder worked for me - didn't copy over the gunsights though....

I'm going to have to try copying the whole settings folder, because copying over just the joystick.cfg and ctrl.cfg didn't work in beta 9.

I've copied settings folder successfully twice. Once for Beta 4 & again for last release.

Seems to have no real problems.
