The airbus made it down too and was designed to be kept away from possible missiles :D

"Testament to the strength and safety of U.S. planes"
Also to the couple of civilian planes that have been hit too. Really I don't think a single MOPAD hit is going to take down something as big as a C-5 like in the movies.

Do you mean.... MANPAD?
Which movies show a MANPAD taking out a big plane?

These dorks dont even know the capabilities of their weapons.

16 choppers down in what 8-9 months , that mortar attack last week, only way it would have been better was a second hit 20 mins after the first - hitting the hotel with 122mm rockets when the big boys were in town and getting away clean - you're dealing with special forces with lots and lots of practice.....these guys are good.

LOL and in your opinion they did that? Two tards with an old SA-7 doesnt really show **** in my book.

"Two tards with an old SA-7" that managed to get close enough to the airport fire the missile and successfully intercept the C-5 and then get away with it shows a lot.
No it doesnt.
First, a C-5 on final or takeoff is pretty much impossible to miss.
Second, to get "close enough to the airport" to hit a landing or departing C-5 is really a joke GS. If we assume that the terrorists had the crappiest of the crappy equipment, they came with an SA-7. That has a ceiling of 4500 meters. If you are trying to shoot down a landing or departing C-5, and your ceiling is 4500 meters, you could very well be several kilometers from the airport. To expect or even assume that the US forces should have all those dozens of square kilometers under constant surveillance is really absurd. Even for you.

LOL! The Iraqis are attacking the airport with mortars too and ground traffic near the airport come under RPG attack now and then. You just keep underestimating them, it won't matter because luckily the US forces know better.
Oh, Im sorry, I thought we were talking about the C-5 that was hit by a missile.

Well, then you tell me what kind of conclusions you draw from the number of attacks and the quality of those attacks against American troops in November and the number of attacks and their quality against American troops since the capture of Saddam.
-
Take a valium guys, you are both on (to) something :D

The sarcastic part of it all is that the rocked-hurling Iraqis only achieve one thing, which is to make the US forces stay longer.
