Skuzzy i just set up a new SATA HD on my system.
with the current AH my Force feed back is soft and limp and acting wierd now before i installed every thing on the new HD i never had the problem!
What confuses me is that when i play AH2 beta its fine like it normaly is...........
Is there a file i should copy out of AH2 and replace in my AH1? or should i uninstall AH1 and reinstall it?
************NEVER MIND I delted it then reinstalled and seem to have cured the problem**************8

Could be something messed up in the AH 'settings' folder. Rename the folder just to check and see if that is it.

ok Skuzzy ive been thru the renameing several times and that works temporarly till "I" reboot! (no rebooting issues)
Im using a MS FF2 after the reboot its good(FF still works) till i take a bird with Ordinace then it goes limp ONCE ive dropped my ord.
Im tired of having to reset all my controls and stuff up every few days after a reboot. is there a specific file in the for froce feed back sticks thats going bad?

It does not make any sense. Could the SATA interface be using the same IRQ as the stick?
-
no plms here with my ms ffb2 and ah1/2...
it wouldn't hurt to reinstall dx and the stick...

Ya know ive tried every thing except reistallin DX.
I mean i have renamed the setting file, log back on reset up all my settings. Works fine till i reboot then its the same thing every time!!!!
What ive done now is set up a master "setting file copy" and after a reboot i go in delete the setting folder and replace it with a copy of the master and it works fine (till i reboot)
But im geting sick of having to do this every time!
EDited: well i reinstalled DX9B now even replacing the file doesnt work and this really sucks.....im at a lose ive tried every thing i have removed and reistalled every component (stick, usb controlers, AH, DX,) im about to reload window and start fresh!
Also this is only when i have Ord then drop/shoot it.....then the limp comes on from that point on................

And the only IRQ that could be csusing a problem is :
My IRQ 20 is sharing 2 resources:
standard enhanced PCI to USB bus controller
with the:
3COm NIC INTERGRATED FAST ETHERNAT CONTROLER (on board)

SKUZZY i got it figured out..........................
My usb CAM was shareing the same USB port and connection as the Joystick ..............so USB items using the same connections (like thins where it might be enought to F-it up) can cause problems!:aok
