Well, here's the general update...

My company blocked this BBS as well as a ton of websights so no more access at work.

My Cougar is in Canada getting repaired so no flying yet.

And things with my dad are not going so well.

The oncologist said he's got 9 months to live at best.

At worst, the infection that has him in ICU could kill him at any second.

I'm not looking for a miracle. I just want the man to stop suffering.

56 years old. That's how old my father is. And he has terminal cancer because he is a smoker. If he never smoked, he might have had another 20 or 30 years. Maybe more.  In 6 months he went from a normal man to a terminally ill patient. That's how fast this cancer spread.

Anyway, there's no sign as to when I'll be back.  I miss you guys and I hope to see you all very soon.

As for bypassing the block, I can do it. I'm just afraid to, because then I am knowingly violating the company policy on Internet Blah Blah and you know what that means if your caught.

yea, for you smokers out there.  Everybody in my immediate family who smoked for the better part of thier life is dead.  Those who didnt, are alive and well.
