Title: difference between chicken POT pie and chicken pie

to put it simply many people beleive that THIS is a chicken pot pie...but its not...it is merely a deep dish chicken pie

what is the difference???

well...the main difference is the biscuit

Chicken pot pie = biscuit only on top

Chicken pie = crust goes all the way around

Is that correct?

I prefer the crust to go all the way around.  For some reason, that style of pie tastes better.

Mustve been some really bad tasting pot pie, no way somebody with munchies would've eaten only 1/10.
