Title: Bf-109 Flap Bug
Post by: frank3 on January 18, 2004, 05:01:52 AM
It seems flap consists of 2 parts (upper & lower) This might be normal, but it looked pretty odd.

Actually there's nothing wrong in that picture, if you've seen pics of 109s from that angle with flaps down you'd see pretty much the same thing.

It's split as it doubles as a flap and part of the radiator.

Fats is right, that's what they do, and that's how it looks.
my old 109s didn't have it, but it should have.

natedog it dosnt need fixing but are you aware of the streamlined mg pods on the nose of actual g10's and k4s similar to the g6 pods but blended into the fuselage.

without them the nose profile still looks good but it would be an accurate representation of a 7.9mm armed 109 like the g2

Fester, these are all G10s.
