LOL, true.
OTOH, front pads were shot, and the fluid needed changing (30k miles), and I got a super deal on the brake kit + labor, and they threw in the 30k service because I was a new customer, so it was almost a wash.
Plus I cancelled two trips next month which will save me ~$1.5k.
So neener neener.

I wish we had roads like that in florida.

Yep. I got out at night usually, less traffic, but you need to know the road well. I wouldn't drive Mt. Hamilton or Morgan Territory at night, too dangerous. You screw up on those roads and they won't find you until after the cougars and coyotes are done with you.
-
im cheering for the cougers.
-
Sissy road.
Try 18 up to Big Bear, or 74 into Idyllwild.
-
I guess some people need aditional driving instruction. Turn left, turn right ok now stop at that tree... watch out fo that squirel.

I got pocket lint, a pistachio, and a ticket stub.
I never see P-cars on those roads because all the guys out here who own them are too old or too busy working to make their $5k/mo house payment. Come on dood, road trip out here. :)

Your in Northern right?
I was in LA a few months ago - but not for long. If Im ever in your neck of the woods we're going to have to organize a 'drive/shoot/drink' get together.
-
Cool, we can do it chez Lazs. :)
-
Plenty of roads like that over here - just wish I had a Scooby or Evo to enjoy them. One day soon...
Anybody seen the Ghost Rider 2 DVD with the WRX and the Evo racing around the streets of Sweden/Norway?
-
I was doing 60 down the ElToro above lake elsinore and thought I was pretty nifty... Then guys started passing me doing 80 around the cliffs expecting me to turnout at 60+ MPH...
