Title: 2004 AH Dallas Convention
Post by: Tilt on January 19, 2004, 12:58:45 PM: last I heard was a proposal that it would be Dallas, some time in October to co-incide with another event.............. any more news on this?

Some of us europhiles may wish to organise touring hols around the con.

2004 Convention
We have noticed quite a bit of discussion in regards as to where and when the 2004 Aces High Convention will be held. In order to save anyone any unnecessary work or research, HTC has decided to announce that the 2004 Aces High Convention will be held in Grapevine, TX.

We have a tentative date of October 7th – 10th, 2004. It is possible it could also take place the weekend prior. These dates are based on when the Alliance Airshow is scheduled to occur. When Alliance confirms their dates, we will confirm ours. The Alliance Airshow organization will confirm the dates once the Blue Angels state when they can perform.

Please keep in mind that we are in the preliminary planning stages and nothing is written in stone yet.

We look forward to seeing everyone in 2004!

Im saving gas money to make the drive from Murphy(outside of richardson/plano area) .
God i hate them long drives to.

Well, crud! I have to roast newbie airport firefighters in Kansas City, Oct 3 to 15, 2004. :( Well, if the AH Con goes on the road in '05.. I guess I'll see ya'll in '06.

I know what you mean. I mean, White Settlement to Grapevine. I'm going t0o have to think about that. Way too long of a drive. :D

still I traded humidity and Flat for dry and 10,000 hills in my back yard

The only thing that will keep me away this year is the Balloon festia..... I crew for a German team every year

Heck, DFW ain't got humidity...it ain't flat either. Come to a con in Houston in July. You can experience the real deal :D.

That is just scarey lol. Yes it was from what I remember, I think that is what contributed to our downfall in the 2 on 2 ;)

Murphey Hmmm, thats like 3 miles from me I'm in the 190/78 area of Garland. Maybe we could carpool there save some beer money at least

BTW, Texas is not bad too far away to travel there and I live in North Arkansas which a little close to Texas. :D
