Title: ahII ten wont launch

2.4 pent 4
gobs of ddr ram
Chaintech  nvidia 128 / ti4200
drivers 53.03

It won't go past the white screen of death.  Then it wants to send microsoft error report.

dunno no jack.  our systems aren't too different and i have no probs.  there was a post someplace about ah2 not picking up on somone's sound card.  hitech said something about it.  sorry i can't find it for you.

I have an audigy platinum card for sound, but that isn't it.  I am thinking that even though I turn almost everything off with the task manager that maybe zone alarm is still blocking.  I will uninsall it today after work and see if that make a difference.  Thanks NOJACK

Do you have DirectX 8.1 or above installed?

Heard with that card  you dont need anything higher than 45.23 drivers,  I have the Ti 4400 and I dont plan on going any higher than what was reccomended to me which was 45.23's.

Also try runnin clean with nothing in the background, seems alot of people have problems with zone alarm runnin in the background or even having it on their comps period.

A few people in different posts on this forum have uninstalled zone alarm and  have had no further problems, hope that helps ya.

A lot of people use Zone alarm with AH and other games without any problems at all.
The previous version of ZA was buggy as err well a buggy thing.
Get the latest version and all works fine with AH.
